Swimming has been extremely productive. Focusing on staying long in the water, swimming in my sides, and floating, have all been game changers.
My past 2 swims – yesterday morning and today on my lunch break – I was easily able to swim 400m without stopping and without compromising my new- found form.
I have been using my core as my engine – everything seems to fall into place if I rhythmically drive my core from side to side. My arms stroke in a relaxed way, and my feet gently kick to help the rotation.
My goal for my open water swim this weekend is to swim without stopping for 20 minutes, which will hopefully be 750m.
As far as running goes I have completed all 10 lessons over 4 weeks of the Pose Method. Sunday will be my first run and it will be 5 miles (or 8k).
Super excites to get back running – especially with new form to focus on!
