12k

I ran 12k with my race-day gear – I wanted to hit 15k but came up short. My feet and ankles are tired, and my stomach is giving me some issues.

I have been running 10k per day (2 runs of 5k) for the pas few days, and hit 80k last week.

Today I totally neglected my nutrition and ate some leftover scrambled eggs and had a cup of coffee at 7:30ish – I ran at 11:00am.

Good lessons from failure. Handle your nutrition and take care of your feet.
