I am running pain free!
Approximately 60k per week with 2 runs of 15k and one run of 20k – other than fatigue my body feels great.
I have put a great deal of emphasis on hip flexibility and stability, and keeping my ankles, knees, and hips in alignment while running. This combination has seemed to be the recipe for success as far as pain free running goes.
My speed is getting better along with my endurance. I ran 1 kilometer in 3:43 – I should caveat this by saying the majority of my running is done on a treadmill because I hate the cold. I also find it more convenient to run at night in a treadmill – I run after the family has gone to sleep.
I went through a short phase where I didn’t want to run – but I did and am now in a phase again where i cant wait to run.
